   Galinda Upland believes in fate—but as a scientist at heart, she refuses to accept it without proof. She sets out to test, analyze, and prove one way or the other that Elphaba Thropp is her soulmate. As is often the case, logic clashes with emotion and destiny collides with free will, and Galinda must decide if some truths are worth fighting for.
