Summary
This is my take on a Spider-Gwen MCU story, this isn’t the bubbly and happy Spider-Verse Gwen.
I wrote this since Spider-Gwen isn’t in the main MCU timeline and this character archetype isn’t in the MCU currently. I wanted to make this imagination part gritty part realistic. The MCU isn’t the happiest place, it’s real people making real mistakes, those mistakes made Gwen.

Set immediately after the Thunderbolts* press conference.
Kate returns to NYC to see that
1) she missed a city-saving event
2) the Avengers have reformed without her
and
3) Yelena Belova seems to be leading them.
She wants answers.Meanwhile- Fury needs two operatives to track down a hard drive stolen, and he has just the duo to do it.
