“Aw, you dodged!” the kid complained. “I was being so sneaky too,” he grumbled, dusting himself off with two arms that were definitely a normal length now. When the kid finally looked up at Law, he already had his knife clenched in one hand, eyes locked as he held a fighting stance.
The weird kid looked confused, but Law didn’t budge.
“Sorry if I scared you, I’ve never seen you before. Are you from the Gray Terminal?” he asked. Law had no idea what that was, and kept his mouth firmly shut. That only seemed to annoy the kid more, who puffed his cheeks out. “That’s a cool knife,” he tried next.
Law stayed silent. The kid sighed heavily.
“Can you not speak? I guess its okay if you can’t,” he said, as if he had any say in the matter. He shook off the annoyed look and smiled, brighter than anyone had any right to be. “My name is Monkey D. Luffy! I’m gonna be king of the pirates!”

Law dropped the knife.

How does one describe this fic? I have absolutely no idea! I intended for this to be something different than what I wrote. At least different than how the first chapter turned out. We'll probably get back to the original intention of Human Forme Zygarde traveling with the crew eventually. Maybe... Hopefully... That's the intent though!

Lucius likes to think he knows his son. So, when the kids started talking about how there was apparently a brand new strong trainer on the island he knew that Ash was going to end up battling him at some point or another. So when they were walking around later and noticed a Pokemon battle going on he knew it had to be that trainer. The Lycanroc and Umbreon by his side all but confirmed that, even without Rotom-Dex's percentages. He also wasn’t surprised in the slightest when Ash rushed forward to challenge him to a battle as the poor boy was trying to leave.

I would like to say that, yes, I was playing Reminiscence while I was writing this and I did, in fact, steal his name from there. That’s it tho. This very much evolved from what it was gonna be originally. Also, this probably isn’t the title I’m gonna stick with. It will probably change
