Summary
Lexa, a solitary alpha werewolf, faces the impending full moon, knowing the transformation it brings. Determined to avoid complications, Lexa attempts to slip into the forest undetected, hoping to evade Clarke, the annoyingly persistent human girl who has been trailing them. Clarke's presence is dangerous. She doesn't know that while they are under the moon's influence, Lexa might lose control, driven by primal urges to mate or to transform Clarke into a monster too.
Unbeknownst to Lexa, an eclipse coincides with the full moon, intensifying the potential chaos. Despite Lexa's efforts, Clarke follows them into the forest. Clarke, much younger and seemingly naive, doesn't fully grasp the monstrous consequences of becoming a werewolf. However, she won't just go away.
As the eclipse casts its shadow, Lexa must choose between succumbing to their desires or protecting Clarke from a fate of isolation and eternal commitment.
