Summary
After the Mission to take Sasuke back failed, the sand siblings stay for a few days in Konohagakure. A little while after returning to Sunagakure, Gaara comes back to Konoha alone. His mission: Learn how to love and be loved.
Shikamaru just wants to spend a little bit more time with Neji. To get to know him, just because Neji’s cool. Neji thinks about Shikamaru more than he probably should. And Kakashi and Gai just have a really weird work relationship.
[This story is set after the Sasuke Recovery Mission and will diverge from canon events from that point on.]
