Summary
Oscar enrolls at the South London University of Technology with his best friend, and tentacle creature, Logan. They're excited to finally be able to attend an integrated school together, maybe even share some classes. It's the reason he chose the university in the first place.
He can admit he's surprised that even the halls were co-ed, having expected to be forced into living with the other humans for the four years he'd be here. But when Logan and Oscar had shown up for orientation and asked to room together, their request had been accepted without question.
He'd thought the world had finally started to move past the antiquated belief that society must be separated into human and non-human categories. He'd thought other humans would be more open to new experiences, to meeting new types of people they hadn't before.
He's beginning to think he'd been wrong.

Summary
The day Daniel stopped believing in love was the same day Max discovered that love existed. Love disappointments were never new to Daniel, but when his heart was broken in the most devastating way he didn't allow himself to love again. Max never experienced romantic love, he didn't even experience it at home, but he knew it existed.
The day Daniel met Max, he could believe again that love was real. Max didn't know how to identify that it was love.
The story takes place in 2018, specifically starting in July 2018.

“I’m not joking, I have an idea but you can’t laugh,” he breathes out, mouth open “And, it’s not a joke Isack.”
Isack nods, if he were to input another word into this conversation; which he isn’t even sure is real, he would say something irreversible. He’s already said and done enough.
“Why don’t we try dating for a month?”
“Liam, what the fuck.”
“No listen,” he hurries. “I know- I know it’s corny, but it has benefits in this situation.”
“Like what?” The brunette challenges, his accent becoming even more french if that was possible “We’re not in a movie Liam, and you’re not actually Ryan Gosling!”
“Don’t restate the obvious!”
“Don’t say stupid things, when you don’t know what you’re talking about!”
OR: Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson date for a month, in an attempt to figure out Liam's sexuality and Isack's feelings towards him. They create a set of rules which they may or may not follow.
