Petunia’s eyes lock onto James, then his wand on the table and her mouth snaps shut, thin lips pressing together so hard they tremble. She goes from pale, to pink, to a blistery shade of red in a matter of seconds, eyes wide and horrified at the discovery Lily had secretly fantasized about witnessing all day.
Until this moment, Petunia has never had a reason to consider that a wizard could be attractive, but here one sits at her kitchen table. The bane of her existence. Looking horribly, infuriatingly, deliciously fit.

“You alright?” he yelled.
“Lost,” she yelled back.
The boy held the door open.
