But even as you’d acted on that thought and swung down your blade, Akaza had brutally bested you, exhausting you in a peerless fight wherein he refused to land blows that would kill you, mocking your intent until you’d collapsed and were carted away by him. A prize effectively earned.
“Let’s get to it, then,” he proposed, motioning towards the bed.
