Summary
The last plane into McMurdo before the six-month winter brings a new face, an astronomer on transfer from one of the inland observatories. Truthfully, Dean doesn't know shit about neutrino particles; he's just the guy who gets paid to move the equipment from A to B and tries to keep it from getting broken and/or frozen solid. Castiel Novak's awkward, endearing smile is an additional bonus. However, the relentless blue night is brewing coldly for a storm, and it's starting to look like Dean and Castiel might be the only ones left out on the ice.

Summary
Marshall Robert Singer has one hand resting on his hip, the other gripping the discarded practice pole. Castiel thinks he looks tired. That said, with how the kaiju have been crawling with increasing frequency out of the Breach with every passing week and decimating the cities lining the Pacific, no one can blame the man for that.
Castiel knows there aren't enough Jaegers or Jaeger pilots left to defend the coastline against the monsters—but with his history, he's not getting back into harness. He's never joining his mind with anyone else's. Not again.
“Congratulations. You boys done dancing yet?” Singer demands, thumping the butt of the staff on the ground with blunt, percussive force. “We got work to do.”
“Work?” Castiel asks, frowning.
“Congratulations?” Dean finishes.
“Well, yeah.” The Marshall of North America's last battle-center looks back and forth between them, clearly questioning their intelligence. His lip curls just slightly under his beard—no doubt at their blank expressions. “You’re obviously Drift-compatible, ya idjits.”
“What?”
“What?”

Summary
A teenage boy is left to die in a shallow grave and something slithers into his bones. Devotees of an ancient god work to bring Her into the world, as with equivalent fanaticism, a man on a mission picks them off one by one. A lonesome drifter crosses paths with a mysterious stranger and finds himself inexorably drawn into the middle of it all.
Dean Winchester is adrift. All he has is his car, the next hunt, and a conversation he doesn’t want to have waiting for him in California. Then a case involving mangled bodies washing up on shore in an idyllic lakeside community puts him on the trail of a man calling himself Castiel, and the dangerous web he’s entangled in. Dean is used to living in a world of monsters, but the End of Days is a little out of his wheelhouse. Especially when his only ally is determined to keep his secrets behind his teeth, even as they draw closer together. Still, he intends to see things through, no matter how dark the path ahead gets.
It’s either that, or call his brother.

Summary
Castiel doesn't really know why his superiors picked him for a diplomatic mission to Hell, to meet with Dean Winchester, the Knight of Hell currently challenging Lilith's realm and thereby plunging Hell into a bloody civil war. He doesn't know why Heaven cares who sits on the throne of Hell, and he doesn't know why he was sent to Hell alone. But none of those questions matter. Castiel is a soldier, not a diplomat.
Except soon, Castiel is neither of those. Castiel is a prisoner, and Dean Winchester is his captor.
And Dean has no intention of letting Castiel go.

Summary
Dean Winchester doesn’t have much in his life. Not his family, which has fractured since Sam left for college and John dumped him at Bobby’s. Not his job, which he can’t do because he broke his leg hunting. And no real future. But what he does have is a GED, a give -’em hell attitude, and a project when a car that mysterious looks like the ‘67 Impala he once owned shows up in Bobby’s scrapyard. He can’t fix much else in his life, but he can fix this.
