For Astrid, it was turning out to be anything but. Between a shitty job market, a final project, and a bad breakup, all of her carefully laid plans for her life were falling apart. Of course, the cute guy she met at the club wasn't part of any plan either. And it certainly wasn't in the plan for him to be this entangled in her life.

Summary
Hiccup never expected, or wanted, to return to Berk when he left five years ago. Why would he want to go back to a dragon killing village that never cared about him anyways? But now, five years later, with a new yet familiar threat looming, he must return if he's to save both the life he's made and the lives he left behind. And maybe, become the hero he was always meant to be.

A split-second decision to help someone changes all of that, and sets in motion a chain of events that he'd never imagine could possibly happen outside of some bad thriller flicks. But he'll get through it. He always does.
