Summary
While he caresses me in hopes of comforting me, my sobs of pain turn into something hopeful, tears of relief mixed in with the suffering I’ve kept in for so long. Life is horrible, but right here, in my parental friend’s arms, it doesn’t seem so bad anymore. Perhaps there’s some hope that death isn’t the answer. Perhaps today isn’t my day, nor will it be tomorrow. Even through the crying, my heavy breathing slowly stabilizes, replaced by a soft, almost inaudible purr. I’m not alone.

Summary

What if Mimic was forced into betraying his team? Also, Clutch doesn't exist in this timeline, because as much as I like him, fuck that guy. I have a love-hate relationship with Clutch.
