The Brockton Bay Brigade was fed bad information, and so attacked the wrong target, but still form New Wave despite their blunder. Marquis doesn't end up getting sent to the Birdcage and so remains entrenched, though as a single parent.
Taylor doesn't end up going to summer camp, which might have ended up better for her and Emma had the attack over the summer of 2009 not turned out so much worse.

It was an impulse, one that I probably shouldn’t have indulged in, and yet the thought of strangers, of an unknown, leaving these scars on Lisa’s body made me bite down, strong enough to leave a mark.
