Summary
Valentine’s Day was an utterly pointless holiday. It was a day to make money selling junk plastered with hearts and lipstick prints. It was a day for those who expended so little effort on their partner that they thought actually doing so once a year was considered special. Or a day for those so petrified of basic social interaction that they required a designated twenty-four hour period in order to simply let their chosen mate know that they were interested in said social interaction and eventual fornication.
It was pathetic.
And now Nina had apparently received a letter with all the hallmarks of said day herself.

Summary
“What the fuck did you do that for?” Nina suddenly yells, a distinct bite to her voice. Despite that, a slither of her smile remains. One so small that I’m sure I must be the only person close enough to see it. “You couldn’t wait one second for the cripple to grab her cup?”
I had waited that second. That's why I'm so fricked about all of this.

Summary
Louise begs the universe for a familiar. There are many that are only too happy to answer the call.
An ongoing series where each chapter focuses on a different familiar. Or perhaps even a different sort of timeline entirely. There will be no real end to these stories. No conclusions. But plenty of stories to tell and beginnings to reveal.

Summary
Her words echo in my head. They drown out my thoughts, like a fine liquor against a virgin nose. A headiness comes over me as I repeat those words back in my head, over and over until I accept that, no, they aren't going anywhere.
“Max is my girlfriend.”
And I worry what that means.

Summary
Zdrada had never really questioned what happened with Azazel’s research. It was just a thing she did. Everyone just assumed it went to Heaven and got added to some big dossier used to plan their downfall when the apocalypse happened, or some stupid shit like that. Because angels were exactly the type to categorize Pandemonica’s favorite coffee on the off chance that they could use it for something later.
Turns out they don't value Azazel enough to even do that much. Finding that out hurts surprisngly more than Zdrada thought it would.
