“You missed me? We have been together the whole day.” He chuckles and you can feel the vibrations of it seeping into your skin.
“Yes but…it's not the same. We were both busy and I wasn't able to be close to you.” you say stopping your finger’s movements and instead letting your palm press flat against where his heart would be if he was human.
“Ah I see, you mean you miss my touch?” Moon teases fondly, earning a soft grumble from you.
“I missed you in general, Moon.” you repeat trying to sound annoyed but the small giggle that escapes your lips betrays you.
“Well then, how about we go to bed, starlight? And i can hold you as close as your heart and mind desires?” Moon offers, he wants to just pick you up and take you to bed right now but he knows you well enough that it would just wake you up more than anything.

Your head turns towards the door as a featherlike knock taps against the wood.
“Starlight?” a raspy but smooth voice questions.You pause for a few seconds contemplating whether to answer or to pretend that you had fallen asleep already glazing back at the door, you answer.
“Im home, come in.”The door creeks open as your eyes meet Moon’s crimson eyes, most would be on edge from the sight but you had gotten used to it, now it's something you can find comfort in. The door clicks shut behind Moon as he steps forward, He stares at you, his head tilted to the side as if analysing you.
“You're crying” he mutters.
