The weather was shitty. That's how it usually is in New York, I suppose, but today it was exceptionally shitty. Getting stuck in this shitty cafe, with these shitty people in the middle of this shitty afternoon was just the cherry on top of an overall shit day.
God, my siblings better grovel at my feet for getting them drinks from this overly priced cafe. Not like the price is even an issue for me, I'm Alice Fucking Nguyen. I could buy this whole cafe and everyone in here…but I won't, because I don't even know what I'd do with some shit cafe and all these loud, annoying strangers.
