Summary
“Jin Ling!” Wei Wuxian calls out, a tenor of fear in his voice.
“What?” Jin Ling groused, still trying to concentrate on a clue Wei Wuxian had pointed out in the village.
“D-dog!” Wei Wuxian screamed, sounding even more terrified.
Jin Ling rolled his eyes again, not bothering to turn around, even when his uncle was shaking his arm frantically.
“How are you not used to Fairy yet?! I told you! Fairy wouldn’t hurt you unless I said so! Stop being so scared!”
“Jin Ling!” Wei Wuxian called out, more frantic this time, and accompanied by a whine of fear from the back of his throat.
Jin Ling rolled his eyes again and stood from his crouched position. He slowly started to turn around whilst asking “what?! You’re so annoyi…” but he didn’t get any further.
