  Summary

  What if Lyle never tried to take a picture of what was outside? What if he never saw it, instead having spent a little time doing something else and discovered its effects before he looked? Why do so many other dangers lurk inside his home, and would he deal with it if someone offered to help him? This AU seeks to answer those questions, while seeing how Sam, Leigh, and other major characters will play into this story.

  Hi i have never ever posted fanfiction in my life but i Have been writing on and off for a lot of it so. the hyperfixation demons finally got me im writing an au about my new favourite fucked up little guy. ive been enjoying oc-based toxic queer romance for so long that it was very predictable to people close to me that i like samlyle so much. inspo sourced from various fics and fanworks ive enjoyed so if anything feels familiar thats bc it is. writing backwards up to the chapter i have up rn because i started not at the start lol
  edit nov 19th: hi yeah so i am still working on this, i have to throw out a whole 1.7k words that no longer make sense as of 2.0 bc i had my own explanations for the creatures in his apartment that no longer work. fml. its fine i was gonna change his design anyway
