This has all the regency-era goodness i.e. scandal, chaperone-less shenanigans, and tearful confessions.

Summary
Violet Bridgerton has had enough of her three eldest sons refusing to engage with the marriage mart. She has seen her daughters Daphne and Francesca married in the last four seasons but she wants more grandchildren and she wants them now.
And so, in the week before the whole family and ton are due to descend on Aubrey Hall for the annual Hearts and Flowers Ball, Lady Violet has invited a select group of eligible ladies to the Hall to participate in a series of challenges where the ultimate prize is up for grabs: marriage to one of the three oldest Bridgerton brothers. Penelope Featherington is on her fourth year on the mart with no prospects.

Whistledown exists, Colin didn’t make any foolish declarations in the Featherington gardens, Penelope and Eloise are grand. Prudence is still unmarried. This started out as a purely crack fic but I accidentally kept adding plot and making myself cry. There is still quite a lot of crack though. If you crave period accuracy, sorry. I researched some bits with fervour and then hugged an anachronism or two for the giggles.

The recovered contents from the library of Alexandria would be enough to keep her amused for at least a century.

Since the night she had washed up on that English beach, no longer human, and not yet a fully-fledged vampire…That had come some weeks later, along with Agatha’s introduction to the hidden society of the undead. Now the reappearance of a certain Count, was turning her carefully laid plans upside down. Sure, someone needed to retrieve Dracula, and induct/rehabilitate him properly into undead society, but why the hell did that someone have to be her?
