“Thanks, it’s nice to hear that someone recognises that.” Demetri added, with a small smile.
“Well seventeen is certainly old enough to know what you want.” Lucero told him. “People act like teenagers have no idea what they want, but it’s clear that you know what you want and you’ve got it all figured out, dare I say you seem more like an adult then some actual ones.”
“I do know what I want.” Demetri giggled out, feeling a little rush from all the praise that Lucero was giving him.
Afterall, nobody had ever complimented Demetri like this.
In fact this might be the nicest that someone has ever been to Demetri.
Demetri was mature, he was practically an adult, he knew what he wanted and he could make choices for himself.
