Summary
The worst day of Jinx’s life had been five years ago, on this day. The first time her name had been called in the Reaping. Her sister had volunteered herself then, coming out alive but never quite the same. As Jinx's name is called for the second time, there's nobody left to save her, she's going to be a Tribute in the Hunger Games, and she will survive, no matter what she has to do. She won't let Piltover take anything more from her.
Ekko never expected his name to be called. Everyone fears it, but nobody knows what to do when it really happens. He might have had a chance at winning, at making it out alive, but the odds were stacked against him. The other Tribute?
