Simon wakes up in complete blackness, no glowing camera button, no spark of electricity… just fucking blackness.He slowly sits up, his hair pulling bits of congealed blood up with him; there is at least 5 inches of the stuff all around him. He sticks his arm out to feel for the wall of the sub but comes up with empty space; he moves a little further, still nothing.
He slowly gets up and walks forward, holding his hand out until he hits something, a large, smooth, curved object. He feels along it and realizes that this is the outside of the sub… he's out… he's… he's actually fucking out!

Grace finds himself trapped in his own mind, his body not his own anymore. He doesn't know what's worse: that he has to watch this alien take over his entire being and possibly rat out the last human civilization on Earth or the fact the alien parasite is kind of really funny and super considerate of Grace's erratic consciousness.
