It wasn’t until after Izuku had made it back home and laid down in shorts and a ratty shirt that his brain processed the buzzing in his thigh. It took him a minute to realize that it was his soulmark. Looking down at it, it felt like a bus rammed into his chest, 'That is going to get you killed one day'. The words were as black as they were this morning, but when his shaky hands touched them, the words glowed red for a split second then faded back to normal.

Summary

Summary
Midoriya Izuku has spent his entire childhood hiding his quirk. You see, he has a quirk called shadow manipulation, which allows him to manipulate shadows at will. His shadow quirk is a little different than other shadow-based quirks. His quirk isn't weak to light-based quirks; in fact, the stronger the light quirk and the stronger his shadows are against it.
Of course, that's thanks to him training in secret with his best friend Kacchan, aka Bakugou Katsuki, and well, being the vigilante Shadow at night for the past two years doesn't hurt either, right?
Unless, of course, you ask Eraserhead and Hawks as the two heroes who have spent those two years trying to catch him or at least turn himself in, but hey, where's the fun in it?
As he's getting ready to enter UA high hero course to be a hero with his quirk to prove to everyone who said that he can't be a hero with a villainous work wrong including a certain so-called number one hero.
He plans to be the best underground hero after a certain sleep-deprived teacher, and if he causes chaos along the way, well, that's just a bonus for him at least.Series
