Summary
Penelope’s final words before she passed was for Telemachus and Odysseus to not let their bond separate and keep themselves tethered to each other. Their love should grow like a vine and tended to with care. Odysseus and Telemachus promise her and tether themselves to each other in ways they never imagined.
Tldr: Penny gets an early retirement (💀) and her last words get lost in translation by Ody and Tele (🍆+🍆)
Warning, it’s oddly sappy incest. Don’t like, don’t read.

Summary
“Wait, wait!” Poseidon’s voice cracked as he screamed, his body writhing before Odysseus could even lift the trident. The realization on the god’s face was intoxicating.
Odysseus nearly laughed.
“You never waited,” he said, stepping closer, his voice steady despite the storm still lingering in his veins. “You never listened. You never spared a single one of them.”
Poseidon’s fingers dug into the rock beneath him, his breath shallow, eyes darting wildly. He was searching for an escape, for some last shred of power to pull himself from this. But there was none. Odysseus had made sure of that.
“You can’t kill me,” Poseidon rasped again, though the arrogance from before had cracked, laced now with something else. Not fear— gods did not fear. But something close enough to make Odysseus grin.
He crouched, lowering himself until he was at Poseidon’s level, close enough that the god could see the fire burning behind his eyes.
“I don’t have to.” With that, he dropped the trident.
—
Odysseus has had enough— if the world insists on casting him as the monster, then he’ll become one in full.
