Having followed the instructions, Hermione wakes up on the Hogwarts Express in 1976, feeling betrayed and lost. In meeting the marauders and being helped by Sirius's younger brother, she decides to remake the future, and hold the adults responsible for her displacement in time, adults who recruit children for war, accountable to clean up their own damn mess.
