On Halloween, Chad dares Jensen to go out in a slutty angel costume. As he’s grumpily stomping across town, Jensen comes across a very tall guy dressed as a devil, realistic looking tail included, who’s throwing pumpkins at people. Jensen’s furious when he gets hit by a pumpkin, but this devil is actually kinda charming, despite his bad pick-up lines, and really, really hot up close. Jensen can’t help but think that this might be a match made in heaven.

But when he’s stressed beyond belief, he bakes. It’s a coping mechanism that he picked up from his mother as a child, something that started as a way to bond with her and then when she got sick, turned into a way for him to find something he could control. And having something to put a smile on her face, even through the worst of her treatments, at the end of it was definitely worth all of the effort.
