Summary
It's human nature to look back on one's history and contemplate how things could have changed if only they'd made X choice, or to ask if they would do the same things again despite knowing the consequences.
To get caught in the tangle of the past is to drive oneself mad, but navigating a forest is always easier with a guide.
It doesn't matter if they're "just doing their job". Sometimes, only a stranger can show the way. Thrown into a new world after "death", Taylor Hebert has to rebuild her life from the ground up, and she'll do so as a Pokémon Ranger.

When the Demon Queen has to flee after a final push by the part of the Chosen Hero, she finds herself in a modern world lacking in magic and a human girl whose first action was to praise her beauty.
How will Ruby get used to a magical roommate learning to live in the modern day? And how will Weiss cope with working a minimum wage job when she once commanded from a throne?
