There was something about Jon that set him apart from his father and brother. He was born with all the same abilities as the other two, born with the same black curly hair, born with the same DNA. Only thing was… he came across as very antisocial. Not in the cute-nerdy-awkward way, but the way where he genuinely didn’t care about others and their feelings. Didn’t care about how he could devastate someone with the sheer might of his awesome power. Didn’t care that a thug didn’t deserve death and that there was a weight to different crimes. Criminals were criminals and he was bred to do justice.

Damian stood at the edge of the high-rise building. In one hand he held the ‘R’ ripped off from his Robin suit. In the other hand, he held the new mask his mother had gifted him. He had asked for a new suit, all black kevlar and a black mask.
Damian let the ‘R’ slip from his fingers, a final goodbye. He slipped his mask on and began his patrol, out of the Bats’ sight. Gotham’s criminals learned of a new terror that night. He never killed, but he made you wish he had. -

Summary
Damian is a physician returning to America after years of working overseas. He has spent his life traveling from place to place, providing medical care wherever it was needed, never staying longer than necessary. He was content with that life, even if he sometimes wondered what it would be like to have a place to call home—something that had always felt out of reach and long accepted as such.
Now working in a hospital in New York due to a shortage of doctors, he finds himself closer to his past than he has been in years. Being back in the same country as his family and in a city like New York brings old memories to the surface. He wonders, briefly, if they will ever meet again.
Most likely not.
His family never cared for him to begin with.
And that was fine… He would continue to cherish them from a distance, even if it was never reciprocated. As long as they were healthy and happy. There was nothing more he could ask for.
So, what if he was suddenly needed in Gotham?

Summary
After Alfred’s death Damian’s relationships with other members of the Bat family die. Damian comes to the realization that the only one that really cared about him was Alfred. With Alfred gone and the blame of his death sitting on Damian’s shoulders, Damian's run as Robin is gone.
Damian is fine with this.
As long as he gets out of this family that hates him.
But do they really hate him? Does the Bat family know what they have done to their youngest member?
A/N: Also known as me whining about the process of getting into college(s)/dual credit programs in the State of Texas while having had my life completely turned upside down due to personal events so I threw all of my problems onto Damian to make him suffer with me.
