Summary
Wind tried not ignore the creeping feeling as the sound of the distress signal got louder and louder, but the forest stayed eerily quiet. No birds, no scurrying of animals, even the rustle of the leaves sounded faint. But there were also no sounds of battle or anything like that, so that probably a good thing, right? Wild was probably wandering the forest as well, even if he had gotten hurt he was strong. It was his era after all, if anyone knew how to navigate its dangers it was him.
His reassurances felt like nothing at the continued beeping of the distress signal.
