Summary
Daryl had messed up, that was a huge understatement, but the idea still held. Now he was sitting in the local hospital in a long room with machines lining the walls and little chambers that housed, in a few of them, tiny bodies like the one he was staring at. According to Sheriff Grimes this little tissue thin body was his – the premature baby girl in there was Daryl’s daughter.

Summary
Beth cradles the jar of moonshine in her hands, sloshing the alcohol around and watching the rays of light that bounce off of it. Her cheeks are slightly flushed and the tension in her shoulders that has been present since they ran from the prison is gone, at least for now.
If there is a God, he thinks it’s pretty fucked up how He forced them together like this. Like it was all a test for Daryl. Like the big man upstairs was saying, “Here’s a tall glass of water and you just walked through a desert. Now don’t drink it.”
