Vampire Lando Norris should really have not brought back vampire hunter Oscar Piastri back to his quaint little cottage in a town full of vampires. But he does, bringing this weird hunter in also brought in extreme warmth, something Lando didn't know he yearned for in his hundreds of years alive.
Oscar Piastri had one more bounty, one more chance. Kill Lando Norris, or he'd have to leave the village. He fails miserably. Instead he's brought back to a vampires home, as, what only he can presume, a human juice box.Oscar woke to warmth and the smell of soup.
It took him a moment to realize it was real—thick, fragrant, the kind that clung to the air. His lashes fluttered, the world a blur of gold from the fire still burning low in the hearth. He was still in the chair, a blanket draped over him that hadn’t been there before.

Slow burn! Ch 1 was a lot of throwbacks as well as a lot of explaining, Lando being down bad and so on. Ch 2 they meet again, there is jelousy and thingd are getting better in the story
