Summary
Running away from the past is never easy, especially when you're the reason someone is dead. After having to fight her boyfriend off on the night of a Full Moon, Raelyn Lockwood learns the painful secret of her family genes. Thankfully, her Uncle Mason finds her, and is able to share this heavy burden she carries. The two decide it's best to leave Mystic Falls, until Rae gains a sense of control over her new self. They don't return for 5 years. When they do however, they soon find out they couldn't have returned at a worse time. For a new family, would soon come to Mystic Falls, with one member in particular, seeking out people like The Lockwoods.
