Summary
Gods existed through faith; mortals dedicated prayers and devotion to them, and the more believers a god had, the stronger he was. Not to exist, but to be able to exert his influence among mortals.
This was the existence of the gods. A relationship of exchange with mortals that was not always favorable to mortals, but that worked.
Until that changed.
If before, mortals were the ones who depended on them, at least in a visible way, now the gods could feel the bitter taste of this codependency that leaned towards mortals to their detriment, but Zeus was not stupid, nor did he want to conform in silence, so he looked for a way to get around this limitation. And he finded it.Series

Summary
Greeks and Egyptians have different ways of honoring the dead. Ares thought mummifying someone was disgusting, macabre, and weird; who would want to become a dried-up corpse, after all? Summary
Horus was once again complaining about Seth. And Ares wondered how, once again, he had ended up here, lending his ear to his solar. Especially when this wasn't the first time he had complained. Seriously, this had been going on for centuries. Ares thought they should just put their intrigues aside and kiss once and for all.

Summary
Zeus knew that his youthful, radiant appearance could be both a benefit and a hindrance, the latter when it came to the older gods of other pantheons. He simply stood out among this crowd of wise old men, being treated condescendingly, as if Zeus himself had not lived for thousands of years and was no more capable of ruling than they.
