Summary
Avid and his family have been moving from town to town for almost a decade now. It's all in attempt to find a solution to the gaping wound on his neck. Eventually, they find themselves in a town called Oakhurst that is as welcoming as it is mysterious. Upon finding a castle within the woods, Avid catches the interest of a certain vampire lord.
A prequel to a fix-it fic where Avid is a starter vampire inspired by "Centuries with you" by An_Eternal_Star.
