    Summary

An ancient power from the time of Merlin and Morgana gifts one wizard or witch in a pairing, the one Magic deems needs it the most, with the names of their soulmate(s).

Harri Potter learned two names before she even knew that her own was not ‘freak’.

    Regulus Black and Lucius Malfoy.

But, no matter how much she had clinged to the idea of them as a child, she is soon faced with the realisation that these men are not saviours – hell, they serve the man that killed her parents. She couldn’t long for their acceptance; their protection against the abuse of both magical and muggle. No, in a world that hated and loved her in equal measures, Harri Potter built herself into a creature of cunning and manipulation that bows to no one.

Not even her soulmates and their master.

    Summary

Briar Rose Potter, never expected to meet the handsome muggle man at Audrey and Percy's wedding. Nor did the Girl Who Live ever think she would get pregnant from that encounter. But, through him, she had the one thing she had always been searching for, a family.

Benedict Bridgerton had fallen in love with the beautiful raven haired, green eyed woman he met at his mother's charity gala, dressed in a beautiful silver dress. He kicked himself for not learning anything other than her first name, and that he had to leave because of a family emergency and had been so worried, he forgot to leave his number for her, because he wanted to see if there could be something more.

Neither expected to meet again, especially not at a Bridgerton Enterprise event that his family was hosting, bringing them back together. But, when they do, the spark is still there, like a moth to a flame both want to be together, but how will they navigate being parents, the wizarding and muggle world, and everything in-between.

    What will happen?

    Summary

Harriet makes a deal with the Dursleys: pretend she's home if anyone asks and they'll never have to see her again. It's not like they care whether a thirteen year old should be living independently.

Aka: What happens when Harriet Potter spends the summer after third year living in Diagon Alley learning more about the magical world and her place in it. Featuring an inheritance test, pureblood politics, and many pranks.

(This follows canon through the end of Book 3 with the exception of gender. Will diverge significantly almost immediately. Eventual Fred/Harriet/George)

    Summary

This is an iterative fanfiction of Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality. The primary point of divergence is that James and Lily Potter had a daughter who they named Harriett Lily Potter.

This is intended to be a fun, relatively-lighthearted take on hpmor.

The majority of changes are a direct consequence of Harriet being female, either due to personality changes stemming from differences in how young boys and young girls are socialized, differences in how young boys and young girls are treated by society, and also the political ramifications of The-Child-Who-Lived being female. Harriet is far less impulsive and more emotionally mature compared to Harry, though like Harry she does still possess the same mysterious dark side. Her scientific interests also diverge somewhat from Harry, with less focus on theoretical physics and more focus on social sciences (in particular related to gender, for understandable reasons), which in turn led her to study more statistics, epidemiology, genetics, and public health sciences.

I did change a few plot points not related to Harriet’s gender. There were some points I disagreed on, and some I just thought would fit the plot better.
