Sherlock stomped up the steps, determined to make as much noise as possible and to be such a nuisance that the repairman would eventually flee the premises. He flung the door open, letting it bounce off the adjacent wall, and he opened his mouth to say something rude, and—
And the repairman was the most attractive man he had ever seen. He stood there, in the kitchen, his too-tight T-shirt clinging to him over a fine sheen of sweat. His hair was sticking up a bit where he’d run his hands through it. It was a military haircut, Sherlock noticed, which fit with the overall stature of this man. He was strong and held himself like a soldier, and Sherlock had always loved a military man, and, damn, he was staring.

This takes place after the fall and the years where very hard on John. In my AU there is no Mary. Never has been, probably never will be. Although she'd make a great villain. Oh wait, she is a villain. Anywho, this fic is brutal, and your going to hate me by the end of this chapter. Really hate me. But don't worry, I'm going to fix it. Just like our boys, I need some time to work things through. Right then, I would say enjoy, but I'm not sure that's the right verb. Oh well...shall we?

Summary

Summary
John and Sherlock have been lovers for over a year. Sherlock comes home one day to find that John's entire world has been turned upside-down, betrayed by this father of all people. He watches as John struggles not to fall apart, initially feeling helpless. Sherlock finds a way to help John through his betrayal and anger, allowing for some very sexy times between them, and getting his own surprise in the end.
