Summary
‘Like a damned hydra,’ Roman whispered under his breath, trying to think of a plan of attack.
‘Surely you don’t think that lowly of me, my Prince,’ the voice purred in his ear, hands tracing over his shoulders and down each arm. ‘And don’t flatter yourself. After all, snakes do so love the heat.’
One hand slid below his own and Roman almost lost the grip on his rapier with the flick of a yellow-gloved wrist.

Summary
‘There you have it! At least you don’t have to do a big reveal where you tell your girlfriend that you’re a thief working against a government conspiracy, while also telling her that you have cops and gang leaders on your back and a contract killer watching your every move. You only have to tell her the last part.’
Poison chuckled despite herself. ‘You make our life sound like a bad action movie.’
‘You mean damned fantastic action movie.’

Summary
Orion clenched his teeth. Wavered for a moment. Decided.
‘It was a nightmare.’
Lilly stopped, then came back into the kitchen, eyebrows arched.
‘I had a nightmare, and I woke up and my hands wouldn’t stop shaking.’

Summary
Orion rubbed at his eyes. ‘Can I run something by you?’
‘Sure! I love dismantling your plans.’ She wriggled into a more comfortable position. ‘Warehouse?’
‘Yeah.’ It was their next target, and security was heavy. ‘What would you suggest for entrances?’
She pondered for a moment, even stopped chewing for a bit. Her plate with sandwiches sat loosely in her lap, fingers resting around the edge. ‘Windows?’
‘Too high up.’
‘Roof?’
‘Security and access.’
‘Air ducts?’
He scowled. Every single time. ‘No air ducts, Poison.’

Summary
Not so far in the future, in our very own galaxy... nothing much has changed. No robot apocalypse, no flying cars. Orion and his group of hackers and thieves live a simple life: do jobs that are fun, don't get caught.
It would be quite easy if there wasn't that one friend that disappeared five years ago. The friend that worked on some top secret research on brain activity for the government. The friend that they've been looking for, without avail.
As Orion and his friends finally pick up on a trail, they quickly find themselves involved in something much larger than one missing person.
