Summary
Nero throws his hands up in frustration, palms coming to press at his temples. “There aren't anymore paychecks because I quit, Dante. Why aren’t you listening to me? Get it through your thick skull. I’m out.”
Dante rolls his eyes. Yep, he’s definitely over this. “I’m getting the blanket.”
Nero’s face scrunches up in absolute bewilderment, like he’s looking at Dante as if the Devil Hunter had suddenly grown three heads. “What?” He manages as his hands fall away to instead grip at the edge of the table.
“The blanket. The angry blanket.” Dante replies as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world. He glances back at the couch where a big, fluffy red blanket is not-so-neatly folded. Dante doesn’t use it very often - mostly only in the winter. Trish had bought it at one point back when she’d been keen on attempting to decorate the place.
Nero’s eyes follow his line of sight. “The angry blanket? You’re lucky I don’t come over there and stab you.”
