Carina raised an eyebrow. “Cosa?”
“You are a successful doctor. You have equally successful doctor friends. You are fun, you have a great topic of conversation. You are possibly the most attractive woman I’ve ever seen,” Carina’s smile grew bigger the more Maya spoke and Maya had to swallow a loud gulp of saliva to avoid tripping over her words by that minimal of a reaction. “Your life sounds perfect. So, I don’t get why you’re looking for a sugar baby.”
“You don’t have to get it, Maya. Like I said, this stems from a delicate situation.”
“I just… Don’t understand what type of situation, however delicate it is, would lead you to look for a sugar baby.”
“Again, you don’t have to understand it, Maya.”
