Izuku Midoriya doesn't have a quirk. And he will be a hero in spite of it. Well, less of a hero and more of a... vigilante. But he's not breaking any laws.
After a horrible incident on his second to last day of elementary school, Inko Midoriya decides to have Izuku take online classes and they open a cat cafe together. At least together until Inko dies during a villain attack. Midoriya lives as an emancipated minor due to his status as quirkless.
He starts doing vigilante work not long after and meets Mei Hatsume. From there, it just spirals downward

He decides that this, this is what he wants to do. He wants to be able to inspire people, but he doesn't need to be a hero to do that.

A few hours later and he's not so ready to jump. He found the song, but more importantly, he found a community and a back-up plan.

Izuku took Bakugou's advice and swan-dived off the roof. Turns out Kurogiri is a softie, and upon seeing this broken, battered boy step off of a roof, decided maybe he could do a kind thing. Kurogiri takes Izuku to All For One and Izuku finds he admires the villains. For their drive, and for the parts of them that no hero ever sees.
I know the first chapter isn't great, but it gets better. I swear. Also I kinda suck at summaries, so please look at the tags to get a better idea of what this fic is.
