Wei Wuxian is dead.

Summary
Bored by the silence, Wei Wuxian folds his hands lazily behind his head and starts to whistle. In the dead-silent forest, this tune is the only sound.
It makes the atmosphere seem even more unnerving and a few Jiang cultivators shiver from the wind blowing past the cold sweat on their backs. Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian seem unaffected by it. But in truth, both of them remain vigilant as they scan the surrounding.
The only reason they are here is because a Jiang cultivator reported having heard a rumour about a cultivator of the dark path. It is said he has the same ability as Wen Zhuliu – core-melting skill. With a group of cultivators the two set out to investigate the last whereabouts of this mysterious person.
Unfounded rumours like that rarely held any truth to them. Despite this, the two of them still set off to take a look. Even if the possibility is small, it still has to be verified. The scars of the last cultivator with a core-melting ability are still fresh on both of the men’s skins. They have to avoid another Core-Melting Hand emerging at any cost, or the consequences will be immeasurable.
