“For I am made in your image.” She whispers, digging her nails into the backs of her hands. She can feel the flaky remnants of nail polish on her nailbeds from where she’d scratched it off, terror gripping her at it being noticed.
“For you created male and female.” She whispers, feeling the tickle of her hair at the base of her neck. It’s been years since she’s cut it, but it’s becoming noticeable now. There are moments where she looks into her mirror and smiles guiltily at the waves cascading just past her shoulders.
“For it is sin to destroy your creation.” She whispers, tongue flicking nervously over her lips. They taste of cherry, left over lipgloss that she’d stolen from a younger girl a month ago. She still hadn’t confessed. Let her sin for a little longer. Let her taste that cherry, before it is ripped away.

Summary
As it turns out, vampirism isn't all eternal beauty, gothic themes, and social ladders. Mina usually glossed over the rest of the problems, never exactly diving into enough detail in the first place researching her turning until it was too late. However, nothing could've prepare her for the need that would tear through her, prepare her for what happens when a vampire is injured and starving. It makes one so animalistic, ravenous for any drop of blood from whatever poor soul they find.
But what happens when its the last person you want to hurt?
And how can she get herself to say sorry?

Summary
The.... business with the Teacher pushing boundaries started innocently enough. Perfectly innocently, really, it hadn't been anything to worry about the very first time Darcy felt the long, desiccated fingers plucking absently at the front of her uniform skirt. After all, she'd been in the middle of her reading for chemistry the next day, trying to concentrate while waiting for the call to the next Ritual, and she'd left the hand resting, without thought, on her thigh. She'd been absently picking at a ridged imperfection on its exposed and yellowed ulna as her eyes scanned lines of text.
She hadn't thought anything about the Teacher picking at her skirt in return. Why should she have? They were both clearly wishing for the excitement and promise of a Ritual. Fidgeting was natural.
