Summary
(Gen fic version of prompt fic previously posted) Recent recruits Athos and Porthos are attempting to find their place among the Musketeers. With the regiment having suffered devastating losses they find themselves on the fringes. Both men receive their most easy welcome from one of the original soldiers to be commissioned, Aramis. They find themselves unwelcome with his closest friend, Marsac. Their oddest welcome, as unlikely as it seems, comes from a cat.
