A month after Andy left Miranda’s side in Paris she receives a text message from an unknown number. Miranda could simply guess that it was a mistake, an anomaly, but the words on her screen coincided a little too closely with her recommendation to The Mirror about her latest and greatest disappointment.
Because yes. Andréa was a disappointment to Miranda, not in the traditional sense, not really. Miranda was disappointed that she was abandoned by the girl. She supposed she was disappointed because it was her fault Andréa left. So as Miranda sat in her office on a random Tuesday afternoon a month after her favorite assistant left, she recived an innocuous text right when she’d normally take her lunch.

OR
Andy realized she was in love with Miranda decided to show Miranda just how capable she is. A year later she asks Miranda out on a date and presents her the manuscript to her first book that also happens to contain her love confession.
