Summary
If there's one thing being a vampire will teach you is that the more things change, the more they stay the same. There are very few surprises left in life when you've lived lifetimes. Agatha Louis has lived lifetimes and has seen her fair share of surprising moments but meeting a 'family' of vegetarian vampires while living in the PNW and running an antique store was not on her eternal life bingo card and falling in love with the family patriarch is definitely unexpected (Imprevu=unexpected). I promise the story is better than the summary.

Fiana was used to different; growing up on a communal farm with 18 people, 8 of which were mutants, is pretty different. But Fiana always felt even more different than even her family and after an accident with her powers almost ends in tragedy, she and her 'sisters' find themselves at Xavier's School, where different is actually pretty normal.
