Sirius finds someone's number written in a bar's toilet, and texts them to let them know.
This was the original premise of my other fic - I Have Not Met You Yet. It didn't end up working with where I wanted that story to go, so I thought I'd post it anyway, and turn it into a few-parter or something.
So far entirely text message format, likely to be only a little prose in this one.

Summary
Remus Lupin, an Augemented Space Service Assistant, helped a crew of strangers when one of their number turned out to be a spy. Now, he is stuck on board a ship housing an illegal resistance group, fighting against the same government who owns the tech installed in his brain.
Sirius Black, member of said resistance group, has recently and reluctantly acquired the Indenture of one Remus Lupin. He wants nothing to do with him.
Follow up to "The Unit" - a short prologue that I suggest you read first.

Summary
They had assumed he was a robot... and Remus hadn’t corrected them.
Remus Lupin, a damaged augmented space service specialist joins a small crew of researchers for what should be a simple, 20 day trip. They think he's a robot, and he lets them. But when the crew is targetted by outside forces, Remus has to decide whether its safer to come clean, or maintain his lie.
NOTE Previously titled 'Augmented'. I changed the name as decided to make this a sort of prologue/can be read as a standalone to the main fic. Story continues in 'Augmented'
