Summary
Purple had gone between Minecraft and the Outernet hundreds of times with Elytra now, and through several different Nether portals too. They never thought there would be an issue, never had an issue. In fact, sometimes the Elytra had saved Purple from dropping from great heights, or into lava, or other dangerous situations, so why would they ever worry?
Stick City council banned game items from entering the Outernet without proper documentation, risk assessment, and permissions for a reason.
Purple forgets this sometimes.

Dark is tired of trying to suppress or delay his mission code by sparring with Chosen.
They both have gotten tired of getting beaten up, its starting to get a little boring, and their cliff can only take so much of a beating until it starts collapsing (possibly taking their house down with it)... So! He's got a better idea, something that will be fun for the both of them(maybe), satisfy his mission code, and cure their boredom!

Fighting should come naturally to Sticks, sparing is basically child's play, right? At the very least, their child should learn to fight so they can defend themselves from those gifted with strength and power.
That's what Navy thinks anyways, they don't understand why Orchid doesn't agree, why Purple isn't naturally inclined to fight, particularly with who their parents are. Navy won’t back down on this debate.Orchid says to keep it light, stick to the basics, don’t be so rough, take it easy, go slow, teach them, don’t beat them. Navy scoffs, the real world isn’t like that, the real world won’t wait for Purple to turn a certain age, gain a certain skill. No. The real world catches flame at a moments notice, and Navy needs no further proof. Purple will fight.
The basics are just Child's Play anyways.

Chosen doesn’t have words. They weren’t made to fight battles with words, they were made to win wars with flames.
He doesn’t understand why Chosen wouldn’t think it’s funny or at least cathartic to trash Noogai’s computer again.

It’s a strange thing, that most stick have knowledge on the basics of life, the things related to their animation, and maybe a little more about the world, plus some extra fun facts.
On the other hand, Hollowheads only get what their animator intends, sometimes a part of the animators thoughts, knowledge, desires, perspective, skills, and maaaayyyybe a little more.
Chosen is made knowing they should just be an animation, with a program running in the background making them just a little extra, with those if’s and then’s. But they also know they’re more than that.

When the nurse sees angry tears spill down her face, they try and give her privacy, keeping to the other side of the door. Her child sleeps on the bed with her and they’ve given up trying to chase them out when visiting hours are over. They don’t know where in the room or hospital they hide, to slip back in again past hours. The child’s other parent never shows up, and like many other sticks, they don’t have a next of kin to go to. The nurses turn a blind eye. They all know there is only so much time left.
Navy sits on the steps head in their hands.
They knew their animation was tagged with tragedy, they saw a glimpse of it all those years back. Was it terrible that they’d hoped it was the child that died?

This evening, the desktop was basically empty. Not a stick in sight, just the storage folder open with the Minecraft Nether portal humming quietly on the scrollbar.
Years ago, he would have been happy to see his desktop this empty and devoid of stick-life. Now it’s eerie, almost desolate.

Chosen remembers the stick with the black glasses, who's now chasing him.
Back at Newgrounds when he started to doubt what he knew about the cursors animation and games. He let them live. Their injured state and helpless anger, that loathing glare spoke volumes that no program could. He remembers giving the same glare to his animator after realizing his newly indentured status as an adblocker.
He didn’t want to be like his animator, and so he thought sparing the stick would be enough back then. Clearly it was not.
