Summary
The power of will is one thing all sticks have, that they can use to change. Even the dullest background stick can become something great if they want to. It’s not so easy as to just will it of course, that strength and power, it takes hard work and effort to get there. You have to prove you want it, fight for it, find the means to make that change. Encode it in your very being. It’s a battle, but you can get there, if you have the power of will to try.
Purple is born, a strong saturated colour, they almost look drawn, like the Colors their parents are. You’re expected to be strong, Navy says, others expect you to be strong, to fight, to win. Navy will make them stronger, strong enough to have the will to fight a Hollowhead, the Angel of Death.

Tom was the first to see the incoming ships. While he was making some repairs, after a jump through a black hole damaged their warp drive, He saw some movement out of the corner of his eye that caught his attention. While the silence of space kept ships covered for a time, the light from their engines made them stand out against the dark sky. The shield around their own ship protected Tom from the non-existent atmosphere, solar radiation, and cold, cold space but if those ships attacked and shattered the shield he would be dead meat.
