Summary
When their pack is killed by a lone alpha known only as the Beast, Quentin and Julia are taken in by a pack of city wolves who have a much different approach to things than they're used to. Reluctant as Quentin is to let his guard down, he can’t help being curious about his new packmates - especially Eliot, who seems determined to make him wonder if the chance to belong somewhere maybe isn't as far out of reach as he thought.
But Quentin knows that what he lost once he could lose again, and the Beast has never left survivors before… -

Summary
Will awakes burning up hot. It’s bright, and he’s sweaty, and uncomfortable. He blinks the sleep from his eyes and finds himself absolutely smothered in Mike’s embrace, light pouring in through the open blinds no one bothered to close the previous night. It’s pleasant, actually, waking up in Mike’s arms but he doesn’t let himself enjoy it or get used to it. Plus, he feels like he’s being baked in an oven and there’s a weird sun-dried leather taste in his mouth. He can’t make sense of it and the longer he thinks about it, the hotter he gets.

Summary
The problem Quentin has is that he never fucking knows when he's going into heat until it's on him.
The problem Eliot has is that, while spared the worst of dumbass alpha behavior, he has really strong protective instincts.

Summary
“I can choose a husband?” High King Eliot asked again, blinking in shock. “A husband?"
“If you’d like,” Dint said through his teeth. “And a wife, of course."
“What if I—” the High King’s eyes darted between Ted and Dint, fast as a bunny sniffed. “What if I only want a husband?”
Quentin couldn’t feel his legs.
—When newly arrived High King Eliot Waugh meets Fillorian Quentin of Coldwater Cove, he makes a decision with lasting consequences not only for the two of them, but for the entire kingdom.
