Grian, on his knees under the hot midday sun, says nothing. His hands, shaking, are caked with sand and dirt. There’s sweat on the back of his neck, caught in the gold of his hair. The corpse, curled beside him in the sand, is colder than it has any right to be.

Summary
Grian kills Bdubs, and then comes after Scar with the fury of a man scorned. As he should. As is his right.
Scar does not begrudge him this. Scar kneels, waist deep in murky water, and bares his throat, and says, Kill me. And then he says, hot and desperate, We’ve won, Grian, we’ve won. Can’t we both win?
Grian, his head full of whispers, bares his teeth beneath the rising full moon, and says, No. He says, The ghosts demand a fight.
And Scar, on his knees, smiling, says, Who cares what they have to say? It’s just us here now.
And Grian – a fool, always a fool – listens to him.
(In which Scar and Grian decide to win 3rd Life together. This changes everything, and nothing at all.)

Summary
He didn't know a lot about his life before Sam. Bits and pieces came back to him sometimes, but ultimately it was just him and Sam. Him and Sam-and that was okay.
He could handle Sam's tantrums and insanity. He could handle the principal that had it out for him. He could handle the student body watching him like he was something prophetic. He could handle the missing body that sent him reeling each time he thought about it. Instead, he played his part.
And that was okay-everything was fine.
So who was this kid standing in the doorway of their classroom.
Or: The second point of view The Whole Being Dead Thing. A horror, mystery project that combines Evo, YHS, and Hermitcraft in these two towns. If you read the first "The Whole Being Dead Thing (except I'm not)", this fic will follow the same plot however it shoes different scenes that were not in the first from a different pov.

Summary
A year after escaping a terrible situation in which he was forced to pretend to be someone he was not, suffer at the hands of his old cult, and survive a horror filled school Grian is finally able to live rather than just survive. His first Christmas comes with its ups and downs, spending most of it sleep deprived from the fear of a certain red nosed stranger. He'll experience his first winter where the goal is not survival but to just have fun.
Or: A Christmas fic for the TWBDT series where Grian spends his winter holiday afraid of a certain man who sees you when your sleeping and deals with a bit too much emotional baggage for one kid.
