Summary
"Guess I uh-" Capo began, "-didn't uh- heh, do too well on the food front, huh?"
Contractee turned his head from the screen, looking down at the stubble-faced man. He laughed, running a hand through his elder's grey hair. Contractee shook his head, that gentle smile warming up and adding to the pool of heat Capo felt within himself.
"You did just fine, but uh- maybe you should wait for us, next time?"
Caporegime laughed, putting a hand up to his forehead.
"Yeesh! Okay, I get it! Just tell me I'm an awful cook, eh?"
He playfully shoved the young mafialing, who shoved him back, harder than he meant to. Caporegime ended up losing his lap pillow, falling onto his back. He instinctively grabbed Contractee by the clothing on his chest, afraid of tumbling off the bed. Capo gripped a fistful of fabric, which pulled Contractee into a position where he hovered over the quickly sobering man. Silence coated the scene for a second, before Capo chuckled. A knowing smirk overtaking his face.
"What's wrong, pretty boy?"
