Summary
After a conspiracy brings Turlough back into the company of the Doctor, the Trion is reminded of all the things he left behind all those years ago on Sarn when he decided to go back home.
When the Doctor leaves him alone in the TARDIS with one of her new companions however, Turlough finds it all too easy to fall into old childish routines... Human's just seem to have that effect on him - maybe they are all as annoying as Tegan.

Summary

“Did you look into the future, and see that?” Turlough wonders, finally turning around to face the Doctor. The edge of the table digs into his back, grounds him, even though they haven’t even dematerialized yet, aren’t in the vortex yet. “Did you see how they got on in the end, and all?”
The Doctor’s eyes are fixed fast on the console. With a slow, small movement, he pulls a lever. Then he shakes his head, so subtly Turlough could’ve missed it. “Didn’t have to.”
The TARDIS gleams, and the time rotor laughs.
“No,” Turlough says softly. “You didn’t want to.”
